We decided to visit while in town for my birthday and had heard of the yellow tail with jalapeños so we tried that among several other dishes. We had friends with us who also ordered dishes and we shared every dish that came to the table. The yellow tail, the rock shrimp, and the steak are the ones that really stood out to me although all of them were a celebration on my pallet. We came to Nobu for a special celebration, expecting a premium dining experience—but what we received felt far from it. Even though we arrived at 7 PM to a nearly empty restaurant (maybe 10 guests total), the dinner felt rushed and disconnected from the kind of service and atmosphere Nobu is known for.
