I would no longer suggest this optometrist, especially if you have complex eye care issues. I went for a simple prescription renewal. First the front staff were incompetent at running my benefits for the partial payment. Next came the "assistant" doing the standard tests including pressure. Now I am no stranger to these test I am a type 1 Diabetic, I see a ophthalmologist on the regular. Dr Nijjar is a real gentleman. He cares genuinely about his patients, he provides excellent advice that made me appreciate him even more. With this doctor I know I am in good hands. In addition he is polyglot including Spanish. I wish all doctors are like dr. Nijjar. Thank you doctor for taking real care of my eyes.
Update: They rectified the issue and I really appreciate that they took the time to contact me to communicate my concerns. Thank you. Old: The optometry side with Nobe at Costco East Hills is fine — the exam itself was professional, though a bit pricey compared to other clinics for a very basic check-up. The real issue is the optical department in Costco. The staff are consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, which completely overshadows the good experience with the optometrist. So greatful for this clinic and Dr. Aliya Pabani. I had visited my usual optometrist who clearly mis-diagnosed me TWICE while I was having eye problems for 3 weeks, I finally visited Nobe Eyecare at EastHills Costco for another opinion. Dr. Pabani immediately knew the problem and provided me with a treatment plan that resolved my issue quickly!! I will definetly be changing my optometry office to this clinic going forward.
