I’ve only worked at Nobbies for two months and it has overfilled my cup with joy! I love working there. I’ve worked retail elsewhere, and it’s just not the same. Nobbies feels like a big extended family, and I couldn’t be enjoying it more!
Yeah will never shop here again. Horrible experience something didn’t fit so I go try to return it the next day with receipt and everything. They can’t accept because they can’t resell the item. I could understand if it was a week after but this was the next day. I couldn’t even do an exchange. What a joke. Plus this store is way overpriced. They have lost a customer today . Hope they go out of business
Hats off to Stephanie and Mikayla at Nobbies in Clive! As I searched thrift stores for 50 Easter eggs I wanted for a craft show this weekend with limited success, I thought it would be a long shot, but stopped at Nobbies. They found some in storage, unloaded a pallet for me and called me back the same day I went in! That's customer service at its finest! I came to Nobbies in Des Moines to find birthday party supplies for my daughter's upcoming party. My girls, ages 8 and 12, and I were looking at colorful plates and napkins on the far end aisle when to my horror, we came face to face with giant 2 dimensional penis party decorations! There were NO warning signs posted on this end of the aisle! I talked to the manager who claimed that warning signs were posted in the store on the other end of the aisle. I love to shop for all my party supplies here! They always have everything I need & a helpful, cheerful staff, that’s ready & willing & were knowledgeable & waiting to help with whatever I need.
Went to get my daughter balloons filled. They would not fill her number balloon because of a helium shortage. Your a party store that's what you do. So now we dont have a number balloon because you refused to fill it for a paying customer. Nor did they have an alternative for the number balloons smfh
