I somewhat voluntarily admitted myself (went to the ER, spent 7 days there, then they transferred me after a bed became available) in 2022, and honestly glad it happened. I was terrified of being sent to this one, because I knew it was state funded and thought it probably was going to traumatize me, but it was actually a great experience. They were all really rude to me. I don't think I'll be back. She also prescribed me something that has serious side effects and I did let her know my history. I looked at the side effects and thought no way is that ever happening. She didn't even give me options for medications. she got snarly with me if I would try to give her a detailed answer about something and wouldn't listen to me at all. She was not a nice doctor at all. nhams used to have nice people many years ago and now they are just garbage. People with problems ... read more
