I recommend a different University; research one with better odds of success because as a student your career and investment depend on Graduating! NMSU has reports of a 25.9%, 4-year graduation rate and a 40-45% graduation rate after 5 years. I did well and graduated with Honors, 3.7 GPA, 3 minors, and in 3 years. From my experience, the General Counsel, Chancellor, President, and Chief of Police didn't honor the students, their contracts, their own Policy or the students' legal rights. the best Geography dept in the country
I went to NMSU for an exchange and was only there for a semester but I fell in love with the campus. Its peaceful but there are organizations and activities you can attend. I stayed in Chamisa Village, apartments in-campus, and it was worth every penny; great roommates, the apartments were beautiful, only students with ID could access so there was a sense of security, and if there was ever any technical problem it was dealt with rapidly.
