Very pleasant place including the staff. There was a problem with my order. I ordered a caramel cake for my aunt’s 75th birthday but what I picked up was a chocolate caramel cake. Never having eaten nor seen a caramel cake I didn’t realize I had the wrong cake. It tasted delicious it just wasn’t what I ordered. Sugar Shop made no attempt to correct. No credit on future orders. The Sugar Shop catered a memorial reception for my Mom this weekend. It was so thoughtfully put together and was absolutely beautiful when the set up was completed. The food was great, the portions ample and the pricing very competitive. Great variety of savory options. The sweets (zucchini breads, scones, cookies, and kugel )was some of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for your attention to detail and making this event very special for my family.
I give them a big thumbs up, the bakery was originally at a different location several blocks away under a different name. Thought he had closed down permanently, was so glad to find him, he is in a different location, it is smaller a few blocks away and homier, nicer and under a new name. The icing is to die for, we went to a place called the "Three Brother's" a few weeks back, since we couldn't find him and was disjointed.
