Waited two and a half hours to be seen for 10 minutes only to feel dismissed, rushed, and treated as if I was making up my symptoms. Was told to try and ignore the massive floaters impeding my vision. No treatment even suggested. Never asked about the distorted vision, blurred vision, any medications, general health even with a family history of blindness and macular degeneration. Total waste of time. Do not recommend.

I had a 9:30 appointment, but they didn’t call me in for the initial check until 10:40. I didn’t actually see the doctor until 12:10 and was done by 12:30. Three hours total—this is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t understand why they overbook appointments like this and leave patients so frustrated. I do not recommend this place.

Go here! They are amazing! I was sooooo scared when I had to have surgery. Dr M did a great job and was so reassuring and explained everything to me. The staff there at this office is so sweet and helpful!!

I was lucky enough to have access to the head eye specialist at Columbia Presbyterian which I immediately went to in Manhattan. He literally laughed at NJ Retina's diagnosis. I was immediately admitted to the hospital and am fine now. I would likely be blind if I did not have access to better doctors. The doctor clearly had some time limitation or a quota to make. I was referred by the doctor ... read more

As a referral by my optometrist to book an appointment with NJ Retina, I call this morning around 10 AM. Took 44 minutes to complete this simple transaction. The person on the other end, Jan, took one piece of info, then put me on hold, 5 to 8 minutes later came back took another piece of information, on hold again, this went on for 44 minutes. How is this office manage to survive 20 years?
