The staff at NJ Retina Vauxhall is friendly and professional and the office is pleasant and comfortable . Dr. Sultan answers questions and is easy to talk to. He is very gentle and thorough while treating the eyes. I am so glad he is my eye doctor and greatly appreciate his good care. When you have an appointment with NJ Retina, you are seen by a tech before you see the doctor. She updates your medications, asks if you are noticing a difference in your vision, tests for eye pressure, has you read the eye chart, and puts the appropriate drops in your eyes. On my visit on February 25, i was lucky to have Amy as my tech. Dr. Maureperla misdiagnosed my Husbad's condition, eye cancer. First appointment the Doctor told him there was nothing wrong and come back in 3 months. Next appointment, the doctor said there wasn't anything wrong and come back in 6 months. My husband had an appointment at Willis Eye Hospital a week after his 2nd visit. Dr Carol Shields from Willis confirmed he had malignant melanoma of the eye. Two weeks later he had surgery. Wills caught it in time and he is cancer free.
Excellent care, excellent staff, I felt very respected informed and overall it's a wonderful place to be treated
