I will be forever grateful that Luana, Julie and Dr. Alfaro were there when I needed them. From the moment that I walked in the door on a Saturday and was greeted by Luana, I knew that I was in good hands. I went to the Retina Center in New Brunswick with my wife, who has cancer in her eye. She received radiation and now needs injections due to severe retina problems. She is almost blind in that eye, and this has been an incredibly hard time for us. Unfortunately, during our visit, one of the nurses treated my wife very harshly and without compassion. I can not say enough good things about Dr Savant. He is very knowledgeable, professional and approachable. My first visit was a very scary time for me. He was very calming he took his time to explain what was going on with my eye. Every visit I have had after my surgery he takes his time to answer all of my questions. He is a wonderful Dr. the office staff is also very professional. I do wish that more Drs and staff were as caring as NJ Retina. Colleen Galicki
Dr Savant had done detached retina surgery on me in early January 2025. He was very professional and calming when I was so scared. I recommend him to anyone that is experiencing retinal surgery. Colleen Galicki
