Niyo is one of the best places to go to in Davenport to get your hair twisted or braided. The shop is owned by Niyo and she works with her sisters/family. They carry their own hair so you don’t have to bring anything unless you really want to. All you have to do is call, give them your deposit to book your appointment which they do (Apple Pay/cash), show them a picture of what you’re trying to get, come with your hair pre-washed and blow dried without product and you’re good to go. Absolutely wonderful ladies to work with! I scheduled an appointment with them as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom. It was my first time in a braiding salon and my mom’s first time having professional braids. Not only were they very quick with their service, they were extremely polite, professional, and stuck to the reference photos I had sent in advance!
