We had a group of 6 mostly beginner divers including 2 very nervous mothers, and 2 not-so-nervous teens. (I told them up front we were beginners). The week before our dive was during tropical storm Cyndy, so the weather was a serious factor, but Captain Andy was great with communicating and staying in touch and tweaking the plans accordingly. Sad... cancelled on us at 9:30 at night the day before because he had double-booked Charters. He was literally at the dock unloading his Charter when we came back from our rebooked Charter. Shame on you

I don't remember a double booking. The calendar won't let us double book. It locks out once a booking is compete.

I had the honor of diving with Captain Andy Ross on May 2nd , 2017 for Lionfish diving and boy does he know what he is doing. Besides being a great scuba instructor he is very knowledgeable and is a great person! I totally recommend diving with Captain Andy Ross and I have dove with many shops and this is one of my favorite. Super friendly crew, one of the few spear fishing charters in Pensacola. Capt Andy and Barry the dive master made for an entertaining and fun day. They provided a combination of sight seeing and spearfishing to satisfy beginner spear fishers as well as veterans. If you are new at spear fishing this is the charter to use, they were very patient and instructive and provided the spear fishing gear for those who didn't have any. Barry swam with the new spear fishers telling them what they could and couldn't shoot and helped ever... read more
We know Captain Andy personally and can absolutely say he has an incredible amount of knowledge and experience! We recommend him to all of our friends and customers and they have always reported back that they've had an experience that they will talk about for a long, long time. I also want to thank Captain Andy for all that he does for his fishing/diving community.
I have dived many times with Andy and they are first rate. Once they found a small hose leak in some old gear and repaired it on the boat and once the Divemaster stood ready to save me from a potentially bad air consumption scenario (surfacing with practically zero) I would recommend them to anyone.
