Went to supersectional for 3A and 4A games and my child and his friends were removed from general admission seats by someone from NIU because someone wanted their seats. They were the only people asked to move. I will not be giving my money to NIU.
It was a great venue for the 2026 FIRST FTC Illinois State Championship. The staff was very helpful.
My daughter arrived with her group ahead of me. She said they had an impossible time trying to find the parking lot they were supposed to go to. So did I. She said c2, even though I was in front of the building I thought I needed, c2 sent me 5 blocks away. None of the lots are labeled. Zero. Mind boggling for a state university. My local cc has it all mapped out with signs.
Went there for a market/shop event. Found it silly that they charged for parking, and searched through people's bags.
