When we walked in the room it smelled like smoke. The bathroom was disgusting- the tub was covered in black stuff that we couldn’t identify and when we filled a cup of water to brush our teeth there were little gnats floating in the water so we had to go buy bottled water. Next time we will book our trip further out so we have other options for lodging. I will say the girl who checked us in was very nice so there’s that.
all set for sleep and it sounded like a poorly tuned motorcycle out back.. walked to the back of the room and realized the noise was in the ceiling. called the front desk. he said, "oh, it must be the pipes" without a care in the world. I told him "well, I certainly can't sleep with this noise". he said "sorry, no maintenance until morning." Didn't even offer another room. I demanded a refund and went to the Ramada which did not have stained carpets and linens where I slept very well.

Pleasantly surprised! Reasonable rates with clean room in a nice quiet area, pet friendly with lots of grass areas to walk the dogs! Will definitely stay again when back in the area!
