Nitro is a scam. They offer a free trial, and then make it impossible to contact them to cancel. Avoid like the plague!

Nitro Pro is set up on 13 computers at my organization. We purchased because of the advertised iManage integration. iManage integration is not working, we can open and save existing PDFs to iManage but not new documents. We are able to select the workspace and folder but upon clicking save I get an error saying "Sorry, the iManage Work Server failed to understand Nitro PDF Pro's request". I submitted a ticket last week, but it has been ignored.

Update. There are now perpetual license options on the site and an upgrade option as well. ORiGINAL comment I actually bought a copy when they first started up in the 2000's and it was great having an option to Adobe. I bought a copy of Nitro Pro 13 back in 2018 or 19, can't remember which. Time to upgrade it - but guess what, there is no option available to upgrade my Nitro Pro license. I can certainly buy a subscription, but no way is that happening. My company won't pay for it, so ya, no subscriptions. So I got onto their... read more

I actually bought a copy when they first started up in the 2000's and it was great having an option to Adobe. I bought a copy of Nitro Pro 13 back in 2018 or 19, can't remember which. Time to upgrade it - but guess what, there is no option available to upgrade my Nitro Pro license. I can certainly buy a subscription, but no way is that happening. I recently purchased Nitro PDF Pro 14. I had to file some legal documents that had to be PDF/A compliant. I tried to submit the legal documents using Adobe Acrobat in the PDF/A format. The documents were rejected by the agency as not PDF/A compliant. The only way the documents could be submitted to the agency was to use Nitro PDF Pro 14 PDF/A compliant.
