My friend and I were yarn shop hopping during our extended visit to Portland. This store's wide selections of yarn with various gorgeous samples inspired me to pick up my knitting again, after a 2-yr hiatus. Not only were the staff helpful, friendly, and encouraging, but also they were quick on helping me resolve discrepancies. First time there today. Shop is set up in a most unique way, their yarns are by weight. Great for people who already have something in mind like I did when I walked in. The person who took care of me was very attentive and helpful. I will absolutely go back there again.

I was visiting Portland last week and my daughter took me to Nitro Knitters. Wonderful store, great yarns, really nice people. Can't wait to go back in May.
Very well stocked store, with lots of options to choose from. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and super pleasant. I haven't taken a class with them yet, but I would love to if they have a class on socks.
