Butala was involved in NCV and EMG tests and I was told he'd explain the results. He came in, chatted and joked with the assistant, sat down and still without looking at me, rushed out his name. Zero patient awareness. I might as well have been a paper box for all he cared. After the lengthy test, he gave me no specifics about the results, calling it "chronic" and unchanged. What that meant, only he knows. A complete waste of my time and a complete waste of resources.

I was referred to Dr. Butala at the beginning of 2017 for seizures. I have had them all my life and was a little weary about going to a new neurologist. Anytime I go to one they just want to increase my meds and send me on my way. When he 1st came in the room he asked me questions and listened to what I and my partner had to say about the type of problems I was having. He was even able to answer questions that my last neurologist could not. He took time and did not rush me out of his office.

I was referred to this doctor for issues with concentration & ADD. Spent 45 minutes filling out paper work with not much concerning my condition. Doctor would probably be great if I had issues with sleep or conditions like MS or other disorders. With ADD, he seemed to have preconceived notions about it and didn't ask a lot of questions, just expected me to explain why I thought I had it. I'm not the doctor. Bedside manner with personal issues was pretty cold & clinical. Left feeling defeated.
