Couldn’t diagnose my condition and tried to repeat the same tests in his office.
Dr. Anand could not diagnose my condition and wanted to repeat tests only in his office. Would only prescribe medication. Another neurologist diagnosed me in 5 minutes. Rude nurse too. I had surgery for nTOS and got my life back. If my condition lingered as many do, I would have had nerve damage and possibly no use of my left arm. Thankful for the neurologist Dr Waldrop as well as the brilliant surgeon at John’s Hopkins!
Unfortunately, he prefers not to waste his time on patients in their nineties.
He rushed me out. Did not explain why or how . Just said you have this and come back next month. Ok bye
Dr. Anand is the type of doctor who just wants to give you a prescription and send you on your way without much explanation. I was late for an appointment, because of his front desk, so my appointment may have been a bit rushed, but I didn't get the sense that he cared about my issues very much. His office cancelled my follow-up appointment a week out and then told me they can't get me in now for 3 months.
I loved Dr. Anand, but his office and nurse are impossible to deal with. When it comes down to getting medicine refills, you will not be able to get hold of anyone. I've had my insurance company calling for me and all you will get is voicemails. I am going without medication and cannot get a follow up appointment. The one I had, they changed on me and they wouldn't reschedule. I tried to get the doctor and a manager to contact me and no one will pass on the info. It's a very frustrating office to deal with.
