Nishiki This place is very kind of upscale. A bit too pricey for sushi with very small portions. The bar is nice and they always have good music.
great japanese food this is a great place to get japanese food with your friends and family. The sushi is really good and the other food they serve is really good as well. the service is always friendly too.
Oyster Shooters! – On the downside, it's a tiny space.. But that's expected seeing as how it's midtown. The service is okay. The rolls are delicious - the oyster shooters are even better. Freaking DELISH, is what they are. The bartender (Steve?), is adorable.
Good food but sometimes spotty service. – Having read the safety report, I found nothing particularly alarming or unusual. It was no different than Mikuni's evaluation. We've always enjoyed the food at Nishiki and eat at the sushi bar. The sushi is high quality, particularly the specials. The Jeff's salad is a seafood salad absolutely loaded with seafood and is highly recommended as is the sea steak. Rolls are popular at this restaurant and I'd recommend the Chow Bella roll.
