Dr. Unni is the BEST! She is patient and understanding, thorough, and she really LISTENS to me when I go see her.
I had a call scheduled for yesterday afternoon to have a full update on my mom’s diagnosis from the doctor. I never received a call and when I called they said they would relay my message. I said I wouldn’t be able to answer from 5-6pm. I never received a call. Today rolls around and I called again this morning asking for a call before the long weekend. Very nice doctor, but she costs more money because she's at the hospital. I had my first visit and was sent "downstairs" to the first floor for standard followup bloodwork. All billing within this facility is marked "Emergency" and will cost you your Emergency Room CoPay. I'm out $250 because no one told me I would pay a premium for the "downstairs" lab services NOR was I offered an alternative with an explanation as to why hitting Quest/LabCorp on my way home might make more sense.
