Great place for family and friends – This restaurant's interior brings to mind a feeling of freshness, very modern looking decor with clever play of light and a dark wood floor. Best Indian Appetizers Ever.... – Had dinner at Nirvana last night and the food was just great. Especially the green chicken curry. All the appetizers were awesome. The ambience of the place is very nice and super clean. It has a very nirvanaish feel. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. I am sure I will be going back whenever I'm in the city.
Wonderful modern and cozy interiors, awesome food and service – Nirvana is definitely one of it's kind in Indian restaurants.... the kind of place we've been looking for since long! Grreat Place – I read other reviews here and went to his place and found it pretty different from other typical indian places, This place had an hip lounge which was amazing for after work drinks and the ambience was perfect. Bar tender knew her stuff and she made some good drinks . We had a few drinks at the lounge and we went to have our dinner upstairs. Give this a try!! – We all know there are hundreds of indian cusines in NYC. But we all have the penchant to try new ones. And I have come across this one in Grand Central and since it's new, wanted to try this. The place stands out for it's flair, first up. Best Indian in NYC – My friend and I went last night after finding Nirvana on opentable the food was incredible, it is a long time since I have had so many good things to say about a new restaurant. We started with the samosas and and a potato and lamb croquet both were delicious we followed that with chicken Madras and shrimp bhuna I am still dreaming about the dishes!! The service was a little slow in the beginning but they are only 2 weeks old. If you are looking for great Indian you need to look no further!
