My suggestion is not to ever use Patel as a Dr .or the office in New Albany. I received a call this morning from Patels office telling me that my appointment which I made months ago was cancelled! I was also told Patel would not take me on as a patient due to missed appointments and pain medication. I have never asked anyone at that office for any kind of pain medication! For 1 he don't even deserve the 1 star,but you have to click one just to leave a review!For 2 I have deteriorating disc in the lower part of my back and all he kept saying is he can do inblazin shots!Which I already had and they didnt work!Im going through radiation treatments for breast cancer plus thyroid COPD autoimmune hemolytic anemia which is destroying my red blood cells before I can produce new ones and I get IV Infusions for and blood transfusions plus 4 other anemias and 1 of them cause deteriorating bones! I have been seeing Dr. Patel for my back pain. He is very kind and understanding. I am glad he helps me to control my pain with out becoming dependent on my medication. I hope he is always my doctor
Avoid Dr. Patel if you value a 2nd opinion and want to be respected. Dr. Patel is a perfect example of who shouldn’t be a Dr in all honesty. I have no issues with the office at all they are amazing but he is far from it. I originally wanted to be seen by Dr. Bickers but was given Patel and I did everything he asked of me, so after it failed I simply asked if I could be switched to Bickers since I was coming there to see him originally from a recommendation.
