Only meet dr Amin twice , but he did my knee surgery over at the disc surgery center in Newport. He and his team did a really good job very professionally all the staff that helped me was remarkably professional. I would highly recommend the dr and the team .over at the disc surgery center and dr Joseph Barrowes made you feel really relaxed and I would highly recommend the whole staff.

He performed surgery on my knee. The day of surgery, I’m all prepped and ready to go, he was hours late, only to find out he wasn’t authorized to perform surgery in that hospital. Rescheduled for the next day. I was in excruciating pain that night. Contacted him and all he did was complain to me. He made many references as to how worker’s compensation pays him next to nothing. I gave Dr Amin a five star reviews. Dr Amin. Saved my knee and gave my life back and a will to live with quality life. I was in a lot of pain two years after my first initial right total knee replacement. My first Dr who did my first surgery Ignored my complaint I am not able to walk due to the pain. I finally got a second opinion and saw Dr Amin. Dr Amin scheduled my surgery after surgery he told me what happened to the hardware on my knee and he fixed it. There’s more to reviews than meets the eye. I understand the frustration that comes with navigating our broken healthcare system, and it’s easy to let that frustration spill over onto the doctors themselves and it shouldn’t. Now the lack of reviews and 3 stars make sense. I was referred to Dr. Amin by my chiropractor for severe hip pain. I scheduled an appointment, took time off work, and only after confirming did I find out I’d be seeing the PA, not the doctor himself. I asked if I’d have the chance to speak with Dr. Amin during the visit and was told no—so I rescheduled, took another day off, and made it clear I wanted to see the actual physician.
