I saw Dr. Shah for a shoulder issue and he explained the condition so that I could understand and laid out a treatment plan that made sense and was very thorough and efficient.
Dr. Shah did a wonderful job on my shoulder. I never had to take any pain pills after the surgery and even my therapist was surprised with how much motion and pain free abilities I had after the surgery. He has an excellent bedside way about him to address my concerns. I recommend him to everyone
Very pleasent, listened to how my knee injury happened - fell off a horse - then he examined me and walked me through some pictures for what he thought was wrong. Since he thought it was a torn ligament his office staff helped me get an MRI in a timely fashion and he was right. I saw him a second time and he explained the surgery in detail and the recovery and asked about my family and my job to make sure I would be ok. Surgery was last week and I am doing great. He should teach other doctors.
Very happy with my experience with Dr. Shah and Parkview. I had seen another group of doctors prior to Dr. Shah for my shoulder pain. Dr. Shah was more thorough, had a much better bedside manner, explained my options and listened to my questions. Ultimately I am deciding on surgery to be done to me by Dr. Shah. I feel safe and also importante the other patients and nurses I spoke to highly recommended him.
I had a good experience with Dr. Shah and his team at Parkview Ortho. I tore my knee up, and needed surgery. I sought a few opinions and ultimately decided to have Dr. Shah operate on it. He went through what the recovery and rehab would be like, how long I would be off of work and showed me pictures. I was able to go home the same day from the surgery center in a brace and an ice machine. Therapy has been going well, and I making improvements every day and am close to having my normal life.
He showed me were my pain was coming from in my knee from a baseball injury presented me with reasonable options and ultimately have decided on trying non surgery methods first. If it doesn't work then I feel confident that he will fix my knee very well. Doc has been very informative and helpful especially for someone like me that goes to college out of state.
Appointment scheduling and check in was easy. Was brought into the room 5 minutes after checking in and a nurse or an assitant talk some basic information. Dr. Shah then reviewed my xrays, and came in about 5 minutes afterwards, reviewed my history asked me some questions and performed a thorough exam on both of my knees. He explained the problem showing me pictures, asked me if I had any questions and then went over plan that does not involve surgery for me hopefully. Happy efficient.
i had an injury to my biceps tendon and dr. shah was able to treat so my pain went away and my strength got better without needing any surgery. i am grateful for his explanation when everyone else scared me
Doctor Shah fixed my daughter's ACL after a soccer injury and he was nothing short of spectacular explaining the surgery and the recovery process. She is on the road to recovery and he and his staff have always been pleasent to deal with in the office and at the surgery center.
