Dr Luke has been my orthopedic for 15 plus years. This is my second knee replacement surgery with him and he excellent. He takes the time to educate you and demonstrate what will occur.
It was not a good experience. His bedside manner is absolutely horrible. He told me I needed surgery for my torn hamstring and told me I had to make a decision by 5pm that day. After a few moments of indecision, I realized I was already healing well and didn’t need it. On my follow up visit six weeks later, he walked in and said “oh yes, you’re the one who is afraid of surgery.” I was so taken aback, I didn’t respond as I should have with the fact that I knew didn’t NEED it and I would DO surgery if I thought it was absolute... read more
Had an excellent visit with Dr. Shah. My son injured his knee. He explained the problem, did a thorough exam asked relevent questions showed us what was on the MRI and got us in asap for surgery and treatment. Very happy with his bedside manner explanation and we feel very confident with him
I found the doctor to be arrogant and condescending, and he seemed in a hurry to leave the exam room. He spent only about three minutes with me, and I had several questions. I ended up talking to his back as he was already heading out of the office. This was very disappointing. I have an aortic aneurysm and wanted to discuss whether I should wait until my aneurysm is repaired before having my shoulder surgery. I had heard good things about Parkview Orthopedics, but I now regret not waiting for Dr. Fuentes, who has a great re... read more
I injured my knee playing soccer. My coach and some of my teammates wives recommended Dr. Shah as this is one of his expert areas. Diagnosis was a acl injury and a cartilage injury. He surgically repaired everything and while still doing rehab I feel great 6 weeks after surgery. Looking forward to getting back out on the pitch soon with my mates. He was excellent and a great bedside matter and explained the procedure and recovery steps needed to get back to playing soccer. He and his staff are excellent. Great hands this guy... read more
Dr. Kevin W. Luke is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon who provided outstanding care for my son after a serious clavicle fracture. After an accident in late November, my son was initially thought to have a dislocated shoulder, but an X-ray revealed a severe fracture requiring surgery. We were fortunate to get an appointment with Parkview Orthopedic Group, where Dr. Luke took over the case and performed surgery on December 10th, a few days earlier than initially scheduled. He thoroughly explained the procedure, including the ... read more
He asked what I wanted from him and successfully gave me what I wanted
Very friendly, listened to my problems after I was referred to him by a friend for my shoulder pain. Told me an MRI would be necessary to look at my labrum and rotator cuff. Explained the possibilities of the MRI and what the plan would be for different scenarios to resolve my shoulder pain. I feel very confident with Dr. Shah in my corner.
Dr. Shah treated my shoulder injury from work. He fixed my shoulder, his staff was excellent with handling paperwork. I highly recommend him.
