This restaurant has been decorated along the lines of an 18th-century Japanese village. Meals start off with a long, delightful draft of sake, the traditional rice wine. Modern liquors are also available, but the ambiance and the mood is set for Asian culinary experiences. A raw bar offers various kinds of sushi, while the lounge and dining room offer a full course Japanese tasting meal. Sit by, and let the wait staff present each serving with a flourish. My husband and I had reservations for Valentine's day, we travelled there and a sign on the door said they were closed for a plumbing issue. We were not happy that we did not get any type of notification, especially with finding a resteraunt on Valentines day in NYC last minute would be tough. A phone call would have been nice!
The scenery was awesome. Everyone was in character and was very interactive. To top this off the food was fantastic and had a great magic show.k
I dined at this restaurant on 1/29/16, and it was a great experience! The food is really good, the Ninjas are awesome, and Eddie Ivan is an amazing illusionist!!!!!
