Used to shop at Quickie when I was 16 or so. Never really vibed with folks there. Kinda rude, and also it's basically a headshop first, skate shop 3rd. My time at Nine One Skate was excellent. Guy (wish I had made a better effort to remember his name) was extremely helpful and nice. He helped me adjust my online order with zero hassle. Very helpful, and pretty great at dealing with multiple customers at a time. Was helping me and another dude shopping for shoes. These people have no customer service. I had ordered about 300$ worth of stuff online from them and when I called to ask a question about size in hopes of buying another set of trucks for my 2nd board the man was super short with me,made me feel like it was a real hassle even talking to me. You would think after spending that amount of money he could take a few minutes out of his day. Cool independent skate shop in a shopping center made of shipping containers. Dude running the shop opened a little early for me which was appreciated. Definitely will be back.
Cool local spot to buy skate stuff and very helpful knowledgeable employees
