One of the most well-run and fiscally responsible non-profits in the region, the NMRWA has chosen as its mission to restore and protect the local natural ecosystem by engaging citizens to actively participate in understanding how the watershed functions, and what we all can do to improve the quality of life by reducing storm water runoff into our streams and rivers, so that the ecosystem can be more of what it was always meant to be.
Very welcoming to new volunteers. Friendly staff. Great people to work with for a great cause.
