We came in to meet the cats and Muffler immediately came to us despite the shelter knowing him as a reserved kitty. Nine Lives Foundation took care of all his shots and we saw that they had treated him for quite a lot before he was ready for adoption. We couldn't be happier with our new pet and how easy the process was.
Last Wednesday, 2/4/26, I came to the shelter to adopt the sweetest baby, Laverne, or Shirley but I came home with a four-year-old who had lost her sister and could not bear the sadness alone. In that moment, three souls—each of us carrying love and loss—found one another. Together, we will heal, and we will get through this. 🤍 Highly recommended. 9lives is the perfect shelter to adopt.
Great experience adopting a cat. Small, but nice facility, friendly and helpful staff, and easy adoption process. My only complaint is with the lack of parking availability.
The people working there were all lovely and it was really busy and probably stressful so it says a lot that they were all so kind and thoughtful.
