Used to like having her as my doctor, but Dr. Rabin has same-day cancelled my appointment TWICE. The replacement doctors I've had to see (Dr. Alula) were very uninterested or annoyed to have to squeeze me in, clearly didn't read my chart before seeing me (I have a chronic condition that requires medication), wouldn't address all my questions or concerns saying I should talk to my regular doctor, and sent wrong prescription to the wrong pharmacy multiple times. I feel so lucky to have been assigned to Dr Rabin by Scripps, now many years ago. She is highly informed, considers my preferences with different treatments, and has a good sense of humor. My other specialists at Scripps know her well and speak highly of her. The communication systems at Scripps have worked very well for me.
What a horrible doctor. I’ve been seeing her for years because my mom loved her. Every time I would go in and speak about my stomach issues she would just blame it on anxiety. She ignored every single test result, even though they continued to come back high she would claim they were just “borderline” and nothing to worry about.
