Dr. Patel is an excellent surgeon. I had been in extreme pain for months. I could barely walk. Six months ago I had a spinal fusion. Can’t believe the difference this made. So thankful to have my life back.

My husband made an appt to see Dr. Patel. He got there & they took his copay, put him in a room & said he'd be seeing a nurse practioner. I asked why not Dr. Patel & was told he only sees patients at the Brownstown location every other Thursday. When he made the appt the women he talked to said she had his referral. It was a waste of our time because the referral was for Dr. Patel ,& he wasn't even there.
Not even sure why he was recommended by my neurologist. I have enough integrity that I choose not to elaborate in regard to my visits. A lot of contradictions, get a second opinion. On the other hand Patel's staff was awesome.
Dr. Patel and his staff are amazing. I had back and leg pain so back I could barely walk and it hurt to cook, clean, just move. I tried everything, chiropractor, pain meds, PT before the Dr. Patel decided a TLIF back surgery is what I needed. I am currently at my 3 month follow-up and THERE IS NO PAIN in my legs or back. Still got a couple restrictions, but my quality of life is positive and I can move without crying. There is hope. PLEASE try them and see what they can do for you.
