It’s was good and welcoming until Dr. Richards came in. The previous doctor came and examined my eye, noticed there was something wrong, then she came in and shut down everything that I was worried about and what I was previously told. Did not explain much so I had to ask questions to get answers. One eyelid is 2mm lower than the other and she told me it wasn’t, then finally measured it and confirmed there’s a difference. I was not treated very kind or respectful.by this provider at VCU. It took me an hour and 1/2 to get there and a consult fee. She compared my eyes to a car in stating that she doesn't see anything that's that off even though the person who came in before her to go over everything noticed it immediately and it's not just about dropping bottom lid. According to my optometrist who used to practice oculoplastic, because the bottom lid is not attached correctly, I have damaged to the tear duct so it's very irritated which she ref... read more
