Nijiya is my favorite Japanese grocery store in Torrance. The selection is pretty good and is well laid out. It's not a giant store with lots of home goods and stuff which I view as a big plus since it's a much more comfortable grocery experience without all the people their mainly to browse. Pricing for groceries and pantry items is mostly a wash, but some items seem to be cheaper than other Japanese markets (Meiji tofu, for example, which is also locally made!).
