If you have to wait more than an hour to see a doctor please look for another doctor because by this point they are older and are planning to retire. Younger, enthusiastic doctors might not have the same experience but their compassion and humanity are higher. The first visit you get with Dr.Nigro she will reel you in but then if you decline antibiotics or medications not necessary for your face she will make you wait more than an hour to see her. Dr. J Nigro is lacking compassion and has horrible bed side manner. Take your kids to TCH where the real specialists are! Also, the pharmacy techs there are extremely rude. I would never step foot in that office again.
My son went to Nigro Dermatology on Richmond Ave. and received 3 separate laser treatments with a fraxel machine for acne scars on his temples and forehead this past summer 2024. Prior to receiving these fraxel treatments, it was conveyed to him that his acne scars would be substantially repaired (in other words, significantly less visible), which is why I was willing to pay well over $1,000 for them. Dr. Nigro is great for kids but very unimpressed with his front desk and insurance staff. Paid over $300 for a 1 min appt and wasn’t given clear info on the whole payment process. Will be finding a new derm for me and my kids.
