Stayed here for 2 nights As I travelled by myself, I needed something safe, clean, budget friendly and with its own bathroom. This place ticked all the boxes. From the moment I checked in I felt welcomed. I only booked the compact queen room but it was plenty big enough for me. There isn’t much in the way of food there, but a lot of options available within walking distance and a Woolworths not to far down the road. Avoid this place at all costs!!!! This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel and the pub downstairs are owned by the same people, yet no one bothered to mention, that there would be a live band playing until midnight. The music was so loud that the floor and walls literally shook while I tried to sleep. To make things even worse, the only way to access the hotel at that time was by walking through the middle of the noisy, crowded pub with all my luggage, completely unacceptable for any guest. Upon check-in we we're informed that a band will be playing that night. We returned after our concert before midnight and all was quiet. Coming from the north entry to the hotel wasn't the easiest. Room was a good size and clean looking. There was spider webs in the corner above the door and the air-conditioning unit needs proper cleaning !!
