Egregious Customer Service – The bartender was very rude and childish. Yelled at, cursed at, drink thrown away, denied water, food thrown away, denied more food, denied to finish food, denied to pay, denied to use bathroom, told where to sit, told what to say, threatened with cops, kicked outside, harassed outside verbally, unwilling to stop verbal harassment, blackmailed, threatened with false police report of drunk driving, unable to drive under blackmail, had to call law enforcement twice. great place! – planned a birthday party stop for food and drinks and it was a wonderful experience. First, I'd like to say that our waitress, Anna, went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was attentive, friendly, and even split our check 5 ways when she saw us stuggling to split it ourselves. We Love Our Neighborhood Bar We love the Night Light. Just a cool place to get a drink, hang out and hear good music. They have tasty nibbles if you're hungry.
Night Light Lounge is A HORRIFIC PLACE! I had a horrific experience at Night Light and will NEVER go back. Ignored when we walked in, we sat ourselves on the pation after receiving a dismissive wave from the bartender indicating he didn't really give a damn where we sat or if we did. After going out to the patio, the waiter out there--who appear tired and unkempt--ignore myself and my friend for 15 full minutes until we had to ask for a menu. My Favorite Happy Hour – This is my favorite place to go to Happy Hour. I love to sit outside here in the summer. Watching all the Clinton bicyclists running stop signs and almost getting ran over by cars at the corner during rush hour can be very exciting. It's a great place to people watch too. not the best... Each time I go to the Night Light, I always forget how crowded and smoky it'll be. I guess things have changed with regards to the smoke, but still. It's a great neighborhood spot, but either the neighborhood's gotten packed (a possibility), or the bridge and tunnel crowd has invaded (also a possibility). The drinks are good, and the room is comfortable- if you can find a seat. Definite points for the patio, though.
Night Light Lounge The Night Light is a great happy-hour bar with a decent (if slightly pricey) menu and a great cocktail selection. The large patio is is a definite draw during the warmer months, and a separate inside smoking section ensures you don't have to go home smelling like cigarettes. Bonus points for the friendly staff and quick service.
Va Va Voom! – I'm in infrequently and haven't had a bad experience yet. The service last Saturday was very accomodating. the waiter with glasses and reddish hair was very personable and attentive. The prices are quite reasonable. He forgot part of the order but that was quickly rectified. I tipped generously. The table next to us was loud to the point of rudeness. But this is a bar....in America...domicile of the overpriveliged hipster.
