We really wanted to like Dr. Nielson but he did not seem to listen to us very well. He gave us education and papers that were completely contrary to what we talked about and could have injured or child if we followed. His staff was great and the facility was great. It just felt like he was going through the motions, and when you work with children you cannot do that.
Dr. Nielson and Nurse Marshall were amazing! Our 3 year old son fell and got a laceration above his right eye. This happen at 5:00 pm on a Friday night. I called Color County at 5:05 and they ANSWERED! Not only did they answer, Dr. Neilson and staff said they would wait for me and to bring him in. They treated us with respect and never made us feel like they were being put out, even though we knew they were staying open just for us. Dr. Neilson and Nurse Marshall were professional and kind!
As brand new parents, we transitioned to Dr. Nielson as our pediatrician. He spent just the right amount of time helping us understand certain things about our kids. He has been awesome at every visit, and our kids enjoy going to the doctor's office. How many parents can say that? Craig is a top notch care giver, and always professional, but welcoming at the same time. If you are looking for top notch doctors and staff, Color Country Pediatrics is your best option.
