Yummy This is the most wonderful smooth and creamy frozen custard. This store sells a few other things. The best things are the things made with frozen custard. This has been an award winning place for years. We travel clear up here and it is 30 minutes away, just for the wonderful frozen custard. It is definitely worth trying. I’m always one to recommend Nelson’s but just went there tonight and had a very negative experience... Me and my mom were up for a treat and we decided to go to Neilsen, knowing they close at 10pm we hurried over and got into the drive through at 9:57 we were second in line. I was grossed out that everyone was not wearing any gloves and their hands were dirty and they’re touching everything that you’re putting in your mouth. Even basic food handling procedures are not hard to follow. The girl wiped her dirty finger around the rim of one of the orders she was making. I about gagged. I have frequently visited the bountiful location and have always been more than pleased with my service and desserts. Although today I was in the Holladay area so I stopped in. That place is horribly dirty! Floors looked like they haven’t been swept or mopped for months. Every horizontal surface I looked at was dusty and dirty. Food preparation area was filthy as well! Probably should get that taken care of!
Waited 50 minutes in the drive thru because they had signs saying drive thru only, and saw several teens get let in and served. Then as we pull up they put up sign that they ran out of chocolate. Didn’t get anything and wasted my whole Saturday night. Don’t go here unless you want to just wait forever and then not get served. Very bad business operations.
Second time here and both times out of cookie dough but they don’t tell you that until after I paid and pulled forward to wait for my order. No where on the signs did it say out of cookie dough. The staff had no idea how to cancel and refund my order.
Found a piece of hair, wrong flavor & got ignored.
