First time eating there, food was great!!! And service was great as well, will go back when visiting KC!!!!
I have been meaning to come here for some time, and it was worth the wait! Fried chicken is my all time favorite meal, and it did not disappoint!! It was hot, crispy, and juicy!!! But the BEST thing was the dessert. I had the sweet potato pie, and it was a revelation!! The filling was smooth and just had a hint of all spice. And after it was heated up, the filling was almost caramelized! I will definitely be back!
Niecie is absolutely amazing and the food is delish! Everyone working with her is friendly and atmosphere is great! First Fridays are a MUST! Niecie throws a party for all of her guests
Great service, and the food was awesome. Drinks were delivered fast, and we were greeted as we walked thru the door. Chicken and waffles, pancakes special, and biscuits and gravy.

Probably the best liver and onions I've ever had! And they treat you like family
I had the Southern fried chicken. I will admit the chicken breast was a bit dry, but not dry enough to prevent me from ordering it again. I was with a group of over 30 people and management handled us quickly and efficiently even though we had to sit at three long tables. There were 11 or 12 people at my table, and the food was served timely and orders were correct. Tickets were split accurately also. Toward the end of our meal, we were entertained with a song from (I believe) Niecie. Made the meal more enjoyable.
This place a well kept secret. I drove by it daily for so many years. Finally I tried it. The one that was on 63rd street was not good. I associated this one with my negative experience from there. Niece is an exceptional business owner and a talented singer. Its rare to find both. When you go prepare to wait and be advised it is well worth the wait. Food and service is outstanding!!!
WE HAD GREAT FOOD,AS ALWAYS,MY GRANDSON CAMERON WAS HUNGRY,AS ALWAYS,I FELT LIKE HE WOULD LOVE EATING THERE,WELL HE DID,SO I KNOW WE WILL BE GOING BACK VETY SOON,HE HAD 3 DIFFERENT PLATES OF FOOD,WE WILL BE BACK
