Probably the best liver and onions I've ever had! And they treat you like family
I had the Southern fried chicken. I will admit the chicken breast was a bit dry, but not dry enough to prevent me from ordering it again. I was with a group of over 30 people and management handled us quickly and efficiently even though we had to sit at three long tables. There were 11 or 12 people at my table, and the food was served timely and orders were correct. Tickets were split accurately also. Toward the end of our meal, we were entertained with a song from (I believe) Niecie. Made the meal more enjoyable.
This place a well kept secret. I drove by it daily for so many years. Finally I tried it. The one that was on 63rd street was not good. I associated this one with my negative experience from there. Niece is an exceptional business owner and a talented singer. Its rare to find both. When you go prepare to wait and be advised it is well worth the wait. Food and service is outstanding!!!
WE HAD GREAT FOOD,AS ALWAYS,MY GRANDSON CAMERON WAS HUNGRY,AS ALWAYS,I FELT LIKE HE WOULD LOVE EATING THERE,WELL HE DID,SO I KNOW WE WILL BE GOING BACK VETY SOON,HE HAD 3 DIFFERENT PLATES OF FOOD,WE WILL BE BACK

Took my Grandad today for lunch. First, MS. (Not Mrs., as she got rid of that R 30 years ago according to her 😂) Myra, was as warm and welcoming as could be. Pops had the meatloaf. Delish! I had the fried chicken, greens, mac n cheese, and corn bread. NICE light peppery crust, not greasy at all, and moist inside! All the other servers and bussers were on point also. Pops loved it! Can't wait to go back!
Really good service and food a down home type fill ��
The Meatloaf , potatoes and green beans were good but a little too salted for me.
