Dr FYnn Thompson was friendly in my initial consult. I was told I needed Two cataracts done. I opted to have my dominant eye fixed. There was no discussion around “you should wait until you’re older” or “many people get dry eye from this surgery” or any of the other struggles associated with this surgery. It was performed on me in my early fifties, and from what I am told, was completely unnecessary, and may never have been. I did not opt to do my other eye as I wanted to see how this panned out. Dr. Shah did emergency detached retina surgery for me in April 2020 just as Covid shut-downs were occurring. He has followed up with me since then and just recently told me that my eye has stabilized at 20-20 vision and I now longer need to visit yearly. He is thorough, professional, and compassionate. I would highly recommend him.

I am so blessed and thankful that Dr Shah treated my diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts. He is a kind, caring, excellent doctor who restored my failing eyesight. I highly recommend Dr Shah.
My dr wants me to see this dr but with the reviews for him not sure I am interested in seeing him.
Dr. Shah is young, excellent medsurg academic & postgrad credentials. The vitrectomy & lens implant he performed on my eye 2.5 years ago went exactly as he described…..excellent! As a patient I would recommend him, and for that matter, anyone needing superb opthalmic expertise.
Office is highly efficient and he does a good job. However in my case where the retina and macula were fine, he hardly spoke to me except to say the retina and macula were fine. With prodding as to why I was having decreased vision he merely said to go back to my ophthalmologist
I cannot express how dissapointed on getting an incompetent prognosis which caused me to spend several thousand dollars with another doctor
