It was my wife's first pregency, Dr. Tate was very rude to her, for all of her appointments she only spend less than 10 mins with her. Dr. Tate always have a ionic tone when talking to us (maybe because we are Asians). I just had my first prenatal appointment with Dr. Nicole Tate. This is my fourth pregnancy and I’ve never been given a urinalysis for drug testing. Of course all of my results were negative but Just because I knew my results would be clear doesn’t make me feel any less confused about why I was tested. I understand how this testing may sometimes be helpful but it still irks me that this screening was done without any conversation or consent. I had a great experience delivering with Dr Tate. She listened to me throughout my pregnancy and seemed to actually care. I had to drive over an hour to get to my Kaiser facility and she was sympathetic to that and has been really helpful overall.
