Dr. Awad is an excellent physician!I have a very completed case, with many health issues. I have gone in to see her and she has reviewed my chart the day before I went in, with all of my issues, trying to connect the dots. I have a neurological disease, that is progressive, and not even the specialist at Stanford could give a definite diagnosis name, saying it is too rare to even be diagnosed. Dr Awad is extremely knowledgeable and always professional and caring. She is an exceptional listener and understands me very well. She always talks through everything with patience and gives me advice based on my lifestyle eg. Diet preferences ~ I am paleo, activities ~ I am a personal trainer, etc.

Dr. Awad has always demonstrated her care for me as well as her familiarity with my health history and concerns. She knows when to be proactive and when not to overreact. She is engaged and interested in the "whole patient" and the factors that contribute to their health, and she recognizes that no two patients are the same or are defined completely by their bloodwork. Dr Awad is wonderful unfortunately I have had a hard time in the last couple of years getting appointments so I booked this annual exam a year ago to make sure I could see her. Im glad I did! I have recommended her to friends!
