She's a skilled surgeon but she doesn't care about you as a patient. She didn't even show up to my post op appointment even though I scheduled it 3 weeks in advance. She sent her PA in her place. She also gave me attitude when I asked questions about the surgery and just made me very uncomfortable.
Dr Astil is undoubtedly an amazing surgeon she listens to the patient willing to answer questions n explains the procedure very well.
I met Dr Astill for the first time. She was extremely thorough and took her time going over particular medical options. Would highly recommend her and her nursing staff.
I had surgery with Dr. Astill on May 12, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr. Astill and her entire staff were amazing from start to finish. She was extremely attentive and empathetic, but also realistic, which was exactly the approach I needed. I felt completely at ease in her care, and I am forever grateful to the entire team at Valley for their support and for putting my mind at ease both before and after my surgery. Thank god for those lavender sticks and for an amazing anesthesiologist !!!
Dr Astil took the time to listen and discuss my concerns, I was very please with my visit. The medical assistant was awesome too.
