We just came upon this place and we're so glad we did. The food was amazing and the views were spectacular. We had the burger, clam chowder, scallops and the teriyaki strips steak. All of which was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend if you are in the area.
We have been coming to Nick's for 10 years. Consistently great food and servers. Worth the 3 hour drive from Nevada City. Also we stay at the Sea Breeze Motel which is just a few feet away. Motel and Nick's is right on the water. You can have a few drinks at Nick's and stumble back to your room.
Have been eating their Grilled Crab Sandwich for over 50 years - never change. I drive long distances for one and I'm never disappointed.
Fun place to get drinks at Rockaway. It's walking distance from the motel so that's a plus :)
They have the best breakfast in town along with a pretty decent lunch menu, dinner is a little pricey but not too bad and the view is beautiful and there's a nice walking path for an after meal stroll.
