I moved to Las Vegas in 2001, and I try to stop by here for their awesome grilled crab sandwich every time I come back to SF (once a year or every other year). When I lived in SF, I used to come here often since I was old enough to drink from the mid '80s Two years ago, I stayed at the Lighthouse Inn right across from Nick's. I went back and forth to eat during my 4 day stay. Nick's is still my Bay Area's favorite place to eat.
Bar and food were great!! Fun environment, crab sandwich and oysters were especially good. Rich the bartender is hilarious!! Thank you!
Best Steak n Lobster I've had in years. Excellent and friendly service as well.

Been here many times to this restaurant and tonight for the first time they do not have more than one soda refill. The waitress asked me after I finished my drink if I wanted my one refill now. Never have I been asked that in all my years coming here. They also bring bread to the table. But today it’s also a policy that someone must order an entree. Also a new policy that they must have been ignoring since we started coming. Well this is my last time.
