Coming "home" in August - and definitely plan on getting to Brookings for a Nick's. I'll never forget the time my sister and I visited Mom and Dad. We took Mom shopping in Brookings, but HAD TO stop at Nick's first. A sign said "Closed This Week For Vacation"!!! I thought my sister was going to drive the car right through the front door and fry us up some hamburgers!!! We were never so disappointed!!
