Order the shrimp and crab salad. the shrimp was not clean properly nor fresh! It was like gelatin...� So I asked them to take it back. Then I asked for a cup of gumbo and it had a big piece of shell from the oyster!!! The 2 stars are for the waitress she was so nice and helpful and the hostess was so sweet as well...sadly management never stop by the table and both managers were in the restaurant chatting away. Went there this Sunday with the family.The spinach dip was amazing.The mussels were delicious.My husband had the trout witch he enjoyed so much.
Had the worst food experience in recent years on Valentine's Day. This was my third time here and was he last time I'll ever go here. Wasn't told it was a set menu, price was $78 per person and of the three courses severs, two of them were shared. Pasta was crunchy and I told the chef who came to the table, said he'd fix that. My lady's steak was raw. When food came back, pasta was still crunchy. Oysters were old, dry and tiny. Didn't have a full bottle of wine that I ordered. My son and I share a love for oysters and his eyes light up every time we talk about Nick's. We are looking forward to our next visit to the oyster bar with great service and atmosphere. Oh, and OYSTERS!
I was having a bad day when I walked into Nick's. the waitstaff, hostess, service and food made my experience and mood so much better. Thank you and I will highly recommend this great place to everyone.
Great views. Nice place. Terrible service. Waiter ignored us. Food probably good if served warm, which it was not.
Everything was delicious . . Atmosphere was great . . It was our first time there and we will be back!
