I can get a better NY strip steak at Brothers Still & Grill for half the price. Will not go back.
We went to celebrate our anniversary. The steak was amazing. They were out of crab legs so we decided to get lobster tail instead. It was flavorless rubber. Really bad. The steak made up for it, though, and we still enjoyed our meal. Great bottle of wine. Really surprised that the owner didn't wish us well or discount the lobster, or complimentary dessert. Disappointing.
A fun and even romantic place when the occasion calls for. A great cocktail list with the experience of true mixologists. We really enjoy this little gem we have right here in Canandaigua. If hubby isn't grilling his own steak this place is the treat to enjoy. The risotto is the best I've found locally as well. Though this may seem like just a fancy place to enjoy a wonderful meal it is also a fun place just to stop by for a cocktail. Great music by very talented artist are booked regularly. We loved Nick's! We stopped for dinner after picking up our son from Bristol Hills Music Camp. Wonderful friendly and prompt service, everything we ordered was fantastic. I can't wait to go again, even though it's about and hour and a half drive from Syracuse!
Great bar and delicious food.....would enjoy hearing Paul and Michael Yacci!!!!
Salad was delicious. The food was good, but unfortunately both my prime rib and potato were not as hot as I would of like them to be. When I go to an expensive restaurant and pay $25 for prime rib I like it hot.
We were visiting from Minnesota and wanted a special dinner. That is what we received. Exceptional service, fantastic food and very reasonable prices. My husband had prime rib and I had the bacon wrapped filet. Both were fantastic, meal began with exceptional wine and small loaf of bread. Salads were beautiful to the eye and dressings great to the taste. When back in New York, we will be back at Nick's.
