My, by then 7 year old daughter, had a horrible experience at a previous hospital where she was pinned down to the bed, abruptly by 4 adults to hold her down for a rabies vaccine. I was not notified that this was going to happen. That whole scene caused her a traumatic experience that she still remembers. I had a very good experience with Estefanía Prieto in Pediatrics and Neurology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She is a very attentive and caring professional. She took the time to listen and helped me with everything my son needed regarding his autism. I truly felt supported and well guided during the process. I’m very grateful for her help and highly recommend her.

I was referred to Dr Hay by our pediatric dermatologist and when I arrived several weeks after making the appointment I was asked if I had a referral. It was never mentioned that I would need one upon appointment so after driving 2 hours to see this doctor I had to scramble to call my child’s dermatologist who then told me it has to be from his PCP.
