Our focus has always been to be a quality neighborhood restaurant and bar. We hand form our burgers, cut and bread our fish and make all our dressings and sauces from scratch. Our most popular items are the Saloon Burger - a half pound of fresh beef with cheddar and bacon, the Carne Asada Steak Sandwich with avocado and pepperjack, Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos and Fish and Chips. We also feature a ten item Happy Hour menu with everything under $6 Monday - Friday 3 - 6pm

Unfortunately I live a few blocks away from Nickerson. Despite numerous trips there, I had an encounter where a customer made a homophobia slur to me. When I moved to another part of the bar, I was told by the bartender that the customer who said the slur to me was “the nicest guy” and that he didn’t mean what he said. I stated that I would prefer to be served on the other side of the bar and was told I was cut off for said decision.

Went for my Birthday. We had people in and out, no more than 6 at a time. The service was incredible. Even as they got busy with a 12 top and an insane 26 top, we were taken care of. Never waited for anything. Can’t say enough about the excellent service.

Consistently good food with delicious in house smoked meats. The smoked Tri Tip is delicious! Friendly staff providing great service in a comfortable environment and a great place to watch a game or catch some sun on the patio in season.
