Editorial fromNick's may be a nice beach restaurant, but that doesn't mean we can't wear our jeans or shorts or just about whatever we feel like in this super friendly, casual spot. The crowd is lively and always looks like it's having fun. Not…

Nick's is the Best All I have to say is yum. If you are looking for burger, seafood, pasta, ect. this is the place to eat. I always am satisfied eating here. My favorite is the grilled chicken pasta, probably best I have had at a resturant. After dinner head up stairs to the bar where there is lots of tv's and good, friendly bartenders. If you want to get food with your beer, get the Papa's quesadilla or the Nick nuggets. Yummy!
View amazing-service not worth it – We were very disappointed by the service at Nick's. We were recommended there by friends that know the owner and his other restaurants. My suggestion is the the owner re-train his staff. Our drink glass remained empty thoughout the course of our meal. Condiments were forgotten and the service was in general awful. We will not spend our money there again. It may be a great view but our afternoon was not made better by visiting there. Such a let down.
Great Hangout I have only got dinner here a few times and it was always OK but usually I am never downstairs in the dining room because there is an awesome bar upstairs with several pool tables. I play here all the time and I have never had any problems with the staff especially the bartenders are cool There is also a great deck upstairs for when it is a little warmer out. Overall though I cant say much for the food but everything else is great.
Good location I ate here with my parents a few months ago when they were in town and we all loved it. Parking can definitely be difficult, but the food was good and the servers were friendly.
Beware of Nicks... I've eaten at Nicks before and it was great service and food. One day when my mom and I went to eat hamburger's we got really bad food poisoning from the meat. My mom visited the manager the next day and he could care less what happened to us. I felt that obviously that wasn't good service and that he should be re-evaluated...
Editorial Review – Famous for burgers and fries after 2am, it's the go-to spot in PB for late-night eats.
great food, a classy place in pb – I have been to Nick's many times and I never leave hungry. The portions are large and the menu is great. I suggest this place to anyone who is in Pacific Beach and is looking for a place that is a little more classy and has great seafood. Their daily specials are great, once it was halibut and another time it was swordfish. The parking can be hard to find but not too bad, it is a block from the beach so can be very busy. There is also a bar on the second floor with pool tables and darts.
